U.S. Polo Assn. Partnership Aims to Elevate Palm Beaches Marathon to New Heights
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beaches Marathon has a brand new major partner, as U.S. Polo Assn., the global polo-inspired fashion brand headquartered in West Palm Beach, was announced as the event’s new title sponsor.
The race will now be known as the U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon, cementing the connection between one of the region’s signature sporting events and a hometown company with international reach.
”We've been fortunate over the last several years; we've had over 46 states and 24 countries that have participated in this great marathon,” said owner of U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon Ken Kennerly. ”For us today, when we bring in U.S. Polo Assn. and our title sponsor, we are now being showcased around the world.”
The marathon has grown into one of South Florida’s most successful distance races, drawing thousands of runners from all over the world.
With U.S. Polo Assn.’s backing, organizers say the event is poised to reach new heights while continuing to showcase the Palm Beaches as a premier destination for both elite athletes and recreational runners alike.
